Alicia Silverstone (born April 14, 1970) is an American actor. She was a teen icon when she first made her acting debut in The Crush. The film was a huge success and earned her the MTV Movie Award 1994 for the Best Breakthrough Actress. Silverstone is the older of two siblings: David Silverstone (half-brother from her dad's former marriage) and Kezi Silverstone. She married her longtime boyfriend rock star Christopher Jarecki in a beachfront ceremony in Lake Tahoe on June 11 2005. Silverstone shares Bear with her ex-husband/actor/musician Christopher Jarecki. Silverstone's baby bears the name of Bear. Silverstone is a vegan activist who has spoken out over the years. Her vegetarianism began when she was just 8 years old. When she was 21, she decided to go vegan. Silverstone is the author of two books on the subject of veganism. Alicia Marie Sacramone Quinn is a retired American athletic gymnast. She was on the United States Olympic team in 2008 and took home an Olympic silver medal.
